End of April this year’s first Mentorship Academy took place in Malindi, Kenya. The second academy this year is scheduled for November. As always this get-together was one of the highlights of the academic year. AiduFellows from across all participating schools meet up for several days of inspiration, exchange and learning. Next to a wide range of inspirational speakers from various backgrounds, like as one of the highlights Tom Mboya junior, son of a famous Kenyan politician, the scholars also got hands on career advice and public speaking training. Another great experience were the excursion to big Kenyan enterprises like the Malindi salt works or the Baricho water plant.
We used the chance and interviewed several AiduFellows and AiduAlumni, letting them tell their story, share their experiences and find out what impact the scholarship had on their life. You can find them on our youtube channel here
See here Elisabeth one of our Alumni tell her story:
We will follow up with more stories from our scholars and share them here. But for now we want to leave you with this great and cheerful impressions of our Mentorship Academy:
