During the AIESEC Career Days (job fair) at the University of Zürich this past Wednesday, various Aiducators were given the unique opportunity to reach out to a wide array of students and discuss and share opinions with them. Our bright green stand attracted many from very diverse faculties. The poster explaining our business model and the scholarship applications of visionary and inspired future Aidufellows we had laid out prompted a lot of discussion and sparked much interest.
An additional draw to our stand (besides the fact that we were the only Non-Profit organization present), was that we organized a contest. Thanks to the generosity of DeanDeal.ch we were able to offer some very cool vouchers to the winners. Our question was how many students were provided scholarships in 2011 alone. The three winners picked came closest to guessing the correct amount of scholarships awarded last year, which was 143.
our team at the Career Days
These Career Days are regularly organized by the world’s largest students organization AIESEC (www.aiesec.ch) and offers students and professionals a platform to meet and network. We highly appreciate that we were able to be a part of this event.
We hope that these initial connections made will lead to a higher awareness for our organization, and already have some new potential Aiducators on board thanks to this.
