For many talented young people, finances stand between them and their next step, and their full potential. Our scholarships help bridge that gap.
In Kenya, public Junior Secondary School and University both benefit from government support. But public Senior Secondary School (High-School) - the three critical years in between - that support covers only a small part of the cost. The brightest students earn a place at the best public boarding high schools - but families often carry the full cost alone: tuition, materials, uniforms and more. For talented students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds, this is where the journey ends. We support these young people through our scholarship program - but twenty years of experience tell us that financial support alone isn’t enough. The real turning point often comes after graduation, so our support doesn’t stop at High School. It’s the start of a lifelong journey: free access to mentoring, coaching, employability and entrepreneurship training, and an alumni network where today’s scholars become tomorrow’s mentors. National attention in the Philippines is focused, rightly, on the most urgent problems: weak foundational literacy and malnutrition. But one group is easily overlooked: students who beat the odds. They make it through a strained public system to Senior High School with real promise, yet many never reach university. Entrance fees, admission exams, and competition with better-prepared private school peers create barriers they cannot overcome alone. Many also lack the guidance to choose a course, prepare for a career, and see themselves as future leaders. These students are already close to the finish line. Aiducation helps them cross it, with academic and financial support, mentoring and coaching, so their potential can serve society. Find more information .
