Mario is a boy from Quezon City, Philippines.

Guided by a strong sense of purpose, Mario dreams of becoming a pulmonologist who serves people and communities with dignity and compassion. He envisions a future where he not only provides quality healthcare but also supports the overall well-being of underserved communities and contributes meaningfully to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Mario comes from a big family of eight and is the second child. His father works as a driver and is the sole provider for their family, while his mother stays at home to care for his younger siblings.

Driven to build a better future, Mario studies diligently. His dedication paid off when he ranked 7th out of 300 students in Grade 11, finishing the school year with flying colors.

He has long been fascinated by Mathematics and Science, subjects that sharpen his critical thinking and prepare him for his future in the medical field.

Outside the classroom, Mario embodies a love for learning by watching informative videos and spending time in self-reflection, activities he believes help him grow and continuously improve himself.
