Giving bright and financially disadvantaged students access to education and mentoring means enabling them to pursue their dreams and changing their lives dramatically.
Lynda's story exemplifies the direct impact of an Aiducation scholarship:
Lynda K. was about to drop out of school in 2009 when she applied for an Aiducation scholarship. Her application convinced an AiduMaker couple from Germany who awarded a scholarship to her. In 2010, Lynda was elected the future CEO of Kenya in a nation-wide competition, did an internship in the UK parliament, and in the 2010 high school final exams (KCSE) she belonged to the top 0.4% nationally. Lynda is now a law student in Nairobi.
