James is a boy from Mwawesa, Kenya, a one-hour drive from Mombasa.

There are no good roads in Mwawsa. As a future engineer, James wants to build modern road systems in his region and throughout Kenya. He wants to make traffic more efficient and reduce traffic jams. Easier and safer transportation shall bring more prosperity to his region.

In his spare time, James enjoys reading novels and playing volleyball. In high school he wants to acquire good PC skills and is interested in joining a debating club.

His parents are both unemployed. He’s their eldest son and has 4 other siblings.

James finished elementary school among the 10% highest performing students of his year.
