ABOUT US
In 2006, Dr. Jeremiah Kiponda Kambi and some close friends gathered to address one of the
biggest problem in his beloved country, Kenya - the large percentage of talented students who
drop out of school because they cannot afford the fees for high school. Several years previously, it had been
a scholarship that had allowed Jeremiah to become a physician and he felt that funding the school fees for deserving students would benefit the whole community. The idea to give opportunities to high-potential students with financial need immediately appealed to Dr. Kristin Kapitza and Dr. Florian Kapitza who were visiting Kenya at that time. From there, Jeremiah, Florian, Kristin, and Dr. Eva Köberl founded Aiducation International with the team in Kenya identifying deserving applicants and the team in Switzerland raising scholarships and pushing the idea forward. We have grown with new Chapters in Germany and the UK with more to come. Aiducation International lives through the commitment and motivation of its Aiducators and AiduMakers. Together, we have awarded numerous merit-based scholarships to talented and needy students and have, thereby, fostered the development of an active civil society.

Many talented volunteers make Aiducation International possible every day. We call them Aiducators. They are students and young professionals who understand the importance of education for a bright and needy student.
